Dougherty Funding’s senior bankers provide a broad base of lending and leasing experience from prior affiliation with Money Center Banks, NYSE Real Estate Investment Trusts, International Commercial Finance Companies, National Leasing Companies, Regional Accounting Firms, and National Title Insurance Companies. Our senior bankers average over 25 years in the industry and on a combined basis have completed transactions totaling over $20 billion.

From the broad experience base of our senior bankers, Dougherty Funding provides timely transaction execution, value-added deal structuring, and efficient loan and lease processing. Dougherty Funding serves as the “lead lender” or “lease placement agent” in all financing transactions. Through our sister company Dougherty & Company, we sell loan participations to our extensive network of community banks throughout the U.S. – a network of community banks who recognize Dougherty Funding as a “Lender’s Broker” sensitive to their capital and regulatory needs. This relationship between Dougherty Funding and the network of community banks provides access to capital markets for creditworthy clients whose financial needs may not be well suited for the nationally syndicated loan or leasing model.

Loan Servicing

Throughout the term of the loan or lease, Dougherty Funding remains the single contact for borrowers and loan participants in all transactions; monitoring all loan covenants, payment processing and collecting all on-going transaction information for the loan or lease participant. Our loan servicing staff, possess an extensive base of experience in commercial loan servicing. From monitoring construction loans to borrowing base certificates, our servicing experience provides timely, efficient, and effective loan and lease servicing for both the borrower and the loan participant. All Dougherty Funding loan accounting records are available to the borrower and loan participant in a secure “on line” environment.
